We really got great value for our money at this hostel. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, like curtains and electrical outlets. The location was perfect, just a few blocks away from the main square. And the staff treated us like family, always there to help and provide recommendations.

The breakfast could have been improved with more variety of items.

I stayed at Casa Gitana for a week during Semana Santa and it was an amazing experience. Carlos, the owner, was incredibly helpful and provided great tips for places to visit and eat in the area. He even arranged transportation for us when we needed to go to the airport. The location of the hostel is perfect - just outside the city center but in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the two outside areas and well-equipped kitchen were a nice touch. Carlos really made our stay memorable and I would highly recommend Casa Gitana.

casa gitana was the perfect place for our honeymoon in antigua. carlos, the owner, went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. he organized transfers and tours for us, and the hostel's location near the center and restaurants was ideal. the room was spacious and the kitchen well-equipped. we would definitely return.
